About This Birthday Countdown
Your birthday is the one countdown that no calendar can fill in for you, so this page asks for just two things: the month and the day. It then finds the next time that date comes around and counts down to the midnight it begins, using the time zone on your device. If the date is today, you get a greeting instead of zeros for the whole day, and at midnight the clock rolls over to next year's birthday on its own.
Born on February 29? Leap-day birthdays get a fair deal here. In a leap year the target is February 29 itself, and in the other years the timer runs to February 28 and shows a short note explaining why. The year of birth is never asked for, so nothing about your age is stored or shared.

How Many Days Until My Birthday?
Pick your date above, and the first tile turns the question into a number: the full days left, followed by the hours, minutes, and seconds. Kids ask it every few weeks, as "days till my birthday?" or "days until my birthday?", and here it gets an answer to the second. The page keeps counting while it stays open and checks its time against our server, so it stays accurate even when the device clock is a little off. Think of it as a personal "countdown to my birthday" that needs no app.

How many more days until my birthday?
Choose your birthday month and day at the top of the page. The first tile then shows the full days left, and the other tiles count the hours, minutes, and seconds to midnight at the start of your birthday in your time zone.
What if my birthday is on February 29?
In leap years the countdown aims at February 29. In the other three years it runs to February 28 and says so under the date. If you celebrate on March 1 instead, simply pick March 1.
Can I share my birthday countdown?
Yes. Once you pick a date, the page address changes to something like ?date=03-14. Press Copy link and send it to friends; they will see the same countdown. Only the month and day are in the link, never your birth year.
Will the page tell me how old I'll be?
