These Terms of Service apply to your use of timeinseconds.com and its tools, including the Countdown Widget. The site is operated by Vladimir, an individual ("we", "us", or "our"). By using the site or the widget, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use them.

1. Our Tools

Our tools are free and provided for general information. We work to keep times, dates, and calculations accurate, but they can be wrong. Time zone rules change, a device clock can be off, and a page can have a bug. Don't rely on the site for medical, legal, financial, payroll, or safety decisions, or for anything where a wrong time could cause harm. Check important dates and times with an official source.

2. Countdown Widget and Shared Links

You may embed the Countdown Widget on your own website and share links to our tools. The widget runs from our servers, so we may change it, limit it, or stop offering it at any time, and a widget already on your site may be affected.

3. Your Content

You are responsible for what you enter into our tools and show with them, including countdown titles and event names. We don't store this text on our servers: it is kept in the page address and in the code you copy. Our Privacy Policy explains who can receive that address.

You agree not to use a title, name, or link that:

• is illegal, threatening, hateful, or harassing;
• infringes someone else's copyright, trademark, or other rights;
• impersonates a person or organization, or falsely suggests that we or anyone else endorses something;
• is used to mislead people, for example in spam or phishing.

We may block a link or a widget that breaks these rules.

4. Acceptable Use

Please don't disrupt the site, attempt to break its security, overload it with automated requests, or use it for anything unlawful.

5. Intellectual Property

The site's text, design, and code belong to us or our licensors. These terms don't transfer any of those rights to you, apart from your right to use the tools and embed the widget as described here. Third-party names and trademarks mentioned on the site belong to their owners, and mentioning them doesn't mean they are affiliated with us or endorse us.

6. Third-Party Services

The site relies on third-party services, such as hosting, analytics, location lookup, and map data. We don't control them and aren't responsible for their availability or content. Websites that embed our widget are also not under our control.

7. No Warranty

The site and the widget are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, availability, and fitness for a particular purpose.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or opportunity, that results from using or being unable to use the site or the widget. This includes a missed event caused by an incorrect or unavailable countdown.

Nothing in these terms limits a right or liability that cannot be limited under the law that applies to you.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date, and continuing to use the site means you accept them.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country of Georgia. Disputes go to the courts of the country of Georgia, unless the law where you live gives you the right to use your local courts or local consumer protections.
